Estimator/Project Manager
Joel Gryp was hired in May of 1999 as an Estimator/Project Manager and is currently in the Cedar Rapids metro market area. He spends the majority of his time working on DOT, County and Municipal road contracts. When he’s not working, Joel can be found at one of his kids’ ball games or on the golf course.
Estimator/Project Manager
DeWayne was hired in the spring of 2004 and has been in the asphalt industry since 1976. He is currently an Estimator/Project Manager for Cedar Rapids and the surrounding area. DeWayne attended Iowa State University for Civil Engineering and previously worked for his father’s company, Cedar Valley Asphalt, until it was sold to LL Pelling. He is a proud father of four and a new grandpa. He enjoys his Harley and several athletic pursuits in his free time.
Estimator/Project Manager
Barry Rhinehart was hired in 1996 as a shop hand and laborer. In his current position, Barry serves as an Estimator for the Iowa City, Coralville and surrounding areas. One of his largest projects (valued at $10 million) was the reconstruction of Interstate 80. Outside of work, Barry enjoys watching the Hawkeyes, NASCAR and hunting.
Scott Yoss
Sealcoat Estimator/Supervisor
Scott Yoss has over 30 years experience in the asphalt business. At LL Pelling, Scott began his career driving a water truck and hauled equipment as well. In his current position, Scott is a Sealcoat Estimator and Foreman. In his free time he enjoys watching his daughter participate in athletic events.
Bob Donohoe
Sealcoat Estimator/Supervisor
Bob Donohoe was hired in 1985 as a laborer on an asphalt crew. He has also worked at the oil plant driving a distributor from 1986 to 1995. In his current position, Bob serves as a Sealcoat Estimator and Foreman.
Painting Division Manager/Estimator
Marianne Wainwright has worked in the asphalt industry since 1987, moving to the painting division in 2006. She works primarily in Eastern Iowa bidding jobs and scheduling painting crews for roadway and parking lot work.
