Toyota Scion of Iowa City

The Toyota Scion of Iowa City project was one of the most unique paving jobs we’ve ever done.  The job, which consisted of paving the Truck Adventure ramp in HMA, took a lot of ingenuity.  The challenge, a considerably steep slope at a 3:1 grade, meant we had to use a backhoe to assist the asphalt roller up the ramp.  The paver, pictured in the photo above, was able to conquer the slope unassisted.  We enjoyed the challenge and look forward to paving more jobs of this unique caliber in the future!
