Make a night of it! Employees who would like to stay overnight can reserve a room at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center. This AAA Four Diamond hotel offers an upscale, comfortable place to unwind after the holiday party—without having to worry about heading home at the end of the evening. Even better, checkout isn’t until noon. Stay for the party. Stay for the night. Guests should call the hotel directly at 319-848-8700 to book a room and ask for the "LL Pelling Holiday Party" rate. This rate is not available online!

Yes. RSVP by November 20, 2026. We will have a variety of appetizers and a full buffet along with beverage options including alcohol. In order to have an accurate head count to plan for food and beverages, you must RSVP by 11/20/2026.
Doors to the ballroom open at 6:00 PM. Due to a preceding event, Kirkwood will not allow access to the venue until 6:00 pm. Guests are welcome to mingle at the hotel bar, open from 3–11 PM. Bonus: enjoy 2-for-1 drinks from 4–6 PM!
Yes, each employee is allowed to bring one guest who is at least 18 years old. Please RSVP for both yourself and your guest by November 20, 2026. Note that childcare will not be provided; this is an adults-only event.
Employees and guests 18 years and older are welcome. However, anyone under 21 will not be allowed to consume alcohol. You’ll need a valid form of identification to enjoy alcoholic beverages. Please remember to bring your ID!
Be the best version of you — wear whatever makes you feel amazing! Most guests go for a ‘date night’ vibe, like dark jeans and a nice shirt. Just have fun with it!
Only employees who RSVP on or before November 20, 2026, will be entered into the drawings! All the names will go into one big bowl, and we’ll pull the winners from there. Just make sure you’re in the room when we draw — you must be present to win!

Participation Agreement
Attendance at the LL Pelling Holiday Party is optional, and no one is required to attend as a condition of employment. This event is our way of saying thank you for a year of hard work — come enjoy it on your own terms, and know that choosing not to attend has no bearing on your standing with the company.
We ask that you drink responsibly and know your limit. Our standard workplace conduct policies apply at this event just as they would on any job site or in any office — that means treating your fellow employees, their guests, and event staff with the same respect and professionalism you bring to the crew every day. Anyone who is visibly intoxicated may be cut off from further alcohol service for their own safety and the safety of others.
Plan your ride home before the night starts. Arrange a designated driver, rideshare, or shuttle in advance.

The Hotel at Kirkwood Center was voted Corridor's Best Banquet/Event Facility in 2026. Kirkwood is a completely smoke-free and tobacco-free property, including the event space and guest rooms. Smoking is not permitted onsite.
